I grew up in the upper midwest and, after a brief hiatus to the sultry south, returned north with my husband and daughter. As a child, I spent countless hours roaming the forest, dreaming up romance and adventure- a habit that I haven't given up to this day. I live with a zoo's worth of furry creatures, and I read far too much manga. I am the author of the young adult fantasy romance series Dragon and Phoenix.
